The old location was not pretty and lacked some maintenance at times but it seemed balanced enough with members to ensure reasonable access to all machines and free weights or equipment. The New location is nicer and larger but they seem to have 10 times more people jammed into it making it quite frustrating to get anything done in a timely manner. I don't care for that and gave up my membership.
Friendly staff, good equipment and overall pretty nice gym. BUT they do some shady business practices. I went in for the whole "3 visits" thing and was told and pressured into a 1 year membership. The associate told me I could opt out ANYTIME, but also intentionally neglected to inform me that there is a $100 opt out fee until I wanted to opt out a few months later. Some of my friends even complained that they still charge you after you severe your contract and the associate even told me to keep my receipt for the opt out fee I paid in case it does occur. Buyer beware.
This location has been totally renovated and it looks great
Its seems old, equipment looks ancient, rust on the stairs, tiny. Just not up to the standards of most Goodlife locations in the city.
Best location in london. You are made to feel welcomed as soon as you walk in
