I live in Barrhaven therefore it is my only decent gym to go to. The equipment is good however it is poorly maintained. Machines get broken there and it takes the staff like 2-3 weeks to fix it. There are only 2 bench presses there and one of them has been broken for 2 weeks now yet all they have to do is screw in new padding on it. It really sucks too considering how everybody does chest there (especially juice heads) and the bench is always taken and the other one is broken. Another problem too is they have a cable machine for rows which has also been broken for almost 2 weeks yet still it has been neglected to be fixed. Overall a good gym but with Barrhaven growing that gym will be overly populated and annoying to go to.
Cramped, often packed. Good machines. Friendly staff
Decent gym. VERY cramped (forget having space on mats to do abs or stretch) and is often packed. Equipment is in excellent condition and the gym seems to be well run. However, there are a lot of people that throw the weights around and NO ONE ever whipes down any of the equipment. Including the trainers! (In fact, most of the trainers are very rude unless you are actually their clients) Been to a lot of gyms and find this to be rather undesirable.
The gym itself is OK, I did see most people wipe the equipment down. What upset me is searching online and seeing that it showed 24Hour, so i got there at 8pm on Sunday, it was closed. The same sign on their window that said 24HOURS, had closing times of 6pm weekends and 10pm weekdays. False advertisement.
