I met Tracy, the co-owner, through her Zumba classes at the Enterprise Recreation Center (Jug Brown). Her Zumba classes were energetic and fun. She never tried to push membership for the gym. After a couple of months, I asked her about other classes and that's when she told me about a special they were running at the gym. The first couple of times, I went there, it was comical trying to get in. The doors are always locked and the members are not going to let you in if one of the owners is not there. I finally was able to synchronize my timing with theirs. I am now a member and love it! The facility is clean, the equipment is top of the line, and members can access the gym anytime. If you wake up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep, you can go to the gym. If you're an early morning person, the gym is open. If you're a night person, the gym is open. I don't usually join gyms, because I end up not going because of time conflicts. I don't have that problem with this gym. Anytime Fitness is a keeper.
I don't know who the heck "Josh" talked to at Anytime Fitness but a Joint membership for a husband and wife is not $100. He's lying or over-exaggerating for effect. I have a family plan for 3 people and it's less than $60. As I see it you have 3 choices. 1.) You can go to Gold's and use their run down equipment if you can find an opening in their overly crowded area. 2.) You can do like "josh" says, work out at home...like that's really going to happen. Or 3.) Join Anytime Fitness and work out on your schedule with 24 hr access. Use clean, operable, up to date equipment. Tan while your there for below normal rates. And best of all you won't have to worry about hearing "josh" and his whining. It's a win-win for everyone. Seriously give them a try they have a 7 days free pass, you have nothing to lose.
I went there at least 12 times trying to find an employee, it seems they are never at the front desk even during their limited business hours. I finally found someone doing their job and they wanted $100 for a joint membership for my wife and I. HELL NO, I'm not paying even close to that, especially when I can drive to Enterprise and go to Gold's gym for $20, or just work out at home for free.
