I tried to cancel our membership because we weren't using it, and then was charged $100 because I was told we didn't cancel it correctly. I was fine with this until I continued to get calls from a collection agency, who claimed I still had two memberships. I contacted the club and was told someone would call me back, but no one ever did. I had to call four times over two weeks and ask to talk to someone before I finally got a call back. When I did, I was told that to make things easier on themselves, they were treating my one membership as three. I said that was fine, but asked if they could correct the problem with the collection agency. I was told that they were going to pursue collections on all three memberships and wanted me to several hundred dollars just to cancel one membership.
