Just signed up for a membership at this gym. Compared to the local YMCA this place is 100% improvement. More equipment than I could imagine, and modern equipment.
TERRIBLE experience. I was on the fence about a membership, but I was assured at the time I signed up that I could cancel after six months with a $50 fee if I found I wasn't using the gym. When I called the billing company to cancel I was told I could only terminate due to a relocation more than 25 miles away or a medical condition (and you have to send in proof of either). I called the gym back to ask why they had told me otherwise, and was transferred to the girl who had signed me up. When I told her I felt the gym had been misleading, her response was "Our agreements aren't very long, you should have read it." The one personal training session I had was a disaster. Check out other gyms in the area before you consider this one.
$10 FOR A REPLACEMENT PLASTIC BAR CODE KEY CHAIN TAG? CAN WE SAY PRICE GOUGING? Price gouging is a pejorative term referring to a situation in which a seller prices goods or commodities much higher than is considered reasonable or fair!
I was surprised to find the negative reviews here. I never had a problem with sales people or rude service. If your checking the reviews please be aware there are new owners and the facility has been updated since many of these reviews.
