I tried a few different CF boxes in the area, and this one hit the sweet spot. The CF trend lately has been toward "big box" globo gyms with acres of space and 100s of members. The loss, in my opinion, is that personal touch and the kinship that a small-to-medium box like this can better achieve. This box is just the right fit for the full spectrum of CrossFitters, from the pros to the very green. The space clean and lofty--about average size of a CF box--and there is plenty of equipment and space for even the largest classes. The owners are a husband and wife team, which I think helps bring a good gender balance to the general feel of the place, which is also reflected in the makeup of the coaching staff and the members. Moreover, the price is one of the most competitive in the area. I highly recommend a drop in.

Cool little place, reminds me of what the first boxs were like when I started reading the CF newsletter 5years back. Great drop in rate 10$ the instructors know their stuff and the equipment is decent. While I like the small feel I just wish they had showers on site so I don't always have to run home before work. I have been there 4 times and will go again.

This is absolutely a perfect place to work out. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner at crossfit or a firebreather, you will have a great work out experience. The trainers are extremely helpful and supportive with your goals.The environment feels like you are part of a family. I have been crossfitting for almost 8 months and I assure everyone that you will be addicted to this crazy work out. Two big thumbs up for Nor' Easter.

This is a great gym. The trainers are all extremely knowledgeable and are willing to go the extra mile to help everybody at the gym. The memebers are all very friendly and welcom new members with open arms. They really have a strong sense of community. I strongly recomend Crossfit Noreaster to everyone!

A great, supportive atmosphere in a corner of Hartford near the West Hfd line. Awesome place with amazing people.
