Don't fall for the scams! The got more hidden fees than the easter bunny has eggs. The management lies so much they make Obama look like Honest Abe. My wife and I signed up after receiving a mailer that said "$10 a month, no start up fees, no cancelation fees!" There was a $40 start up fee and a $80 yearly maintenance fee. They bullied my wife into paying over $120 in cancelation fees. Now, 10 months later, I receive a letter from an attorney saying we owe them more money! They provided no reason for the charge. Signing up for Gold's Gym is like being in debt to the Mafia! If you have a problem, the management will make you run around in circles like Nascar. You call and ask for a manager and they will tell you he is at the Cape gym. Then you call the Cape and they will tell you he is at the Fort Myers gym. This place is a complete joke!! This gym is run by horrible, manipulative, bullies with zero integrity! DO NOT SIGN UP!!!!!

I'm a current member, and am looking for a new gym. I took my girlfriend up there and they don't accept the VIP passes so she couldn't workout with me unless she got a membership or paid $10(which is what I pay a month). You wouldn't buy a car without a test drive and she doesn't want to switch gym's without checking the place. so I'll be switching and wont miss it much. its dirty, poor location, and the equipment and facilities are starting to show their age, for $10 though keep the expectations low.

Crappiest gym in all of Lee County, This location as well as the Cape Coral location give Golds Gym a bad name. Save your money and your time because if you do join all you are doing is joining a team of extremely incompetent managers that are never available and dont care about anything except stealing your money.

Worst Management I've ever experienced with a professional business. Poor customer service and poor people/management skills. Don't fall for the $10/month scam. They will try to charge you for things that aren't even on the contract. The Gym was ok but not worth the extra fees and constant hassle. Lack of integrity from the management caused me to find another gym. They will also tell you if you get a friend to signup for a membership they will give a free month... I signed up 4 friends, and even asking repeatedly, never got a thing! Just another example of the lies and lack of integrity from the top guys.

LOL the caption on google maps says 'dishonest' and 'fitness programs'!!! That wraps this place up pretty well I'm sure. Any positive reviews are likely written by one of their family members. I was looking for a gym when I first moved here and found this gym working at my job delivering food. I was really considering it, until the first encounter with the wannabe wise guys that run this dog track. They would receive a generous deal due to an arrangement with the owners of the restaurant I worked for. To return the favor the owners found it in their heart to not only giving me a insulting tip every single time, but call and complained to the generous owner that they weren't satisfied. I regretfully delivered here regularly for months. Thanks for the 2.5% tip, losers. This compelled me to write first review ever on google. Had to write it. They suck that bad. :(
