Very good experience! The staff was welcoming and the facility was clean.
On 1-22-09, I went to this gym based upon reading some of the google reviews. The gym is super clean. They provide you with workout towels and sterile wet-wipes on the walls to clean up after yourself. The gym has all the latest equipment (great cardio, free weights & machines), and the equipment is maintained in exceptionnal condition. Every piece of equipment works smoothly, just like the day is was purchased from the manufacturer. The gym does not have a drinking fountain (the area in desperate need of correction), but the owner on duty this morning told me to take "the first bottle of water (25 oz.) on me." The second bottle, which I paid for, was $2. This is not a large area gym. In fact, it's pretty tight/cozy. But I didn't have any difficulty whatsoever getting from one station to the next. And I didn't have to wait once for a station to open up. This really was a very positive workout experience. After the workout, the owner gave me some pointers on where to go for a sightseeing walk, and one of the better breakfast joints on the island. The experience was well worth the $15 for the day pass. Will definitely go back here on Friday and Saturday before returning to Cleveland. Why can't more of the world be like this gym experience (friendly, efficient, clean, etc)?
