1) less than half the price of Lifetime 2) Trainers are very good 3) Racquetball, swimming, cardio, weights, classes, basketball and volleyball. Lot of stuff for the money. 4) Not 5* because locker rooms could use a renovation and better cleaning 5) New equipment within the last year and there are four leg curl machines .. one old style and three machines.

Great until you want to end your membership and you have set up an automatic payment. You must go online, print out a form and send it certified mail to their corporate headquarters. Good luck disputing anything if you lose the mail information. I sent in the canclation notice and the deductions stopped for a month or two then out of nowhere I was being charged again. I disputed it with my bank but since I was unable to produce the mail certificate of when I sent the cancelation notice they could do nothing. I then tried to just cancel the card that I used. the deductions stopped for a month and then they started coming again. I told the bank about this and they said it was normal if you have a reoccuring charge??!!. So I said hell with this and changed banks. I got about 3 or 4 emails from LA fitness telling me there were issues with my account, which I replied with a F-you. I kept my old account open with $5.00 still in it in case I ever needed to use it. I just checked my status and LA fitness hit me with a $5.00 charge. I guess they get the last laugh eh?

Receptionist is the laziest person I have ever seen in my life. She's rude on top of that. The commission staff... complete stupidness and doesn't know how to treat their already paid customers The cleaning staff- I don't rememeber a job where they let you talk on the phone while being clocked in . Also one of them purposely put their disgusting gloves next to my bag. Filthy Filthy people with filthy attitudes.
