Four Seasons Association
Reviews
Don't let the name Four Seasons One fool you, it is number two to Four Seasons Two. There are currently renovations going on, but do not expect a major overhaul to the services recoeved here. While all the equipment, especially cardio, is in good shape. The building is not. Hopefully that changes. The locker rooms and pool area are in serious need of renovation(they may be getting that) Crowds are awful here. If planning a serious workout in the pool, learn the times to come(nighttime). Basketball, do it in the morning or past eight. Little rascals crawl over the gym. Speaking of little rascals, child care is available. Being a member here since I was five or so, I recall the child service being absolutely miserable. Now to my speciality, running. Now as a disclosure, I only run indoors on bad days in the winter... A lot this past winter! Also at a pretty fast pace so a lot of my complaints may not be noticeable to those who may run for fitness. The indoor track is terrible. The turns are just about 90° and 10m. The track itself is about 9 laps to a mile. Emphasis on the about. I have no idea if it is or not. This are building constraints so there isn't much FS can do about this. What they can do: make the surface something other than what appears to be vinyl and move the walking lane to the outside of the track. Also, beware of children inside the track on the basketball courts. Having a ball almost roll your ankle is common place. Not to mention people will walk across the track like they have a green light... If you are serious about running and hate the extreme cold, get a membership at the Shirk Center(with a world class indoor track and weight equipment that is pretty good).
If you are joining for Racket Ball don't join here. Place is never available. Only two courts. People book and never show up and gym guys never check if any one showed up. Waste on money.
I don't even want to explain what I discovered there. But I will not return. They are receiving way too much money to not have the place spotless.
