I love the circuit training style at Curves. It is so easy to make this workout part of a busy schedule, it only takes 30 minutes 3 times per week to get results. I have tried a number of fitness plans, such a group training at Get In Shape for Women, bootcamp at Matrix Fitness, and personal training at LA Fitness. While all of these facilities offer great programs and an excellent workout, the programs are just too exhausting and expensive to keep up with over the long run. At Curves you can make the workout as easy or difficult as you want by adding in exercises during the 30 second rest time between machines. Regardless of how tired I am, I always feel like going to Curves and am excited about my workout on the days that I set aside on my schedule. Although I chose not to add the meal plan, I have already lost weight and noticed muscle toning in my first 3 weeks. If I had more time I would also add cardio on my off days, but the program does work all by itself. I will also note that the constant change to a different machine every set keeps the workout interesting. I have spent countless hours at gyms on treadmills and elliptical machines which get very boring about 15 minutes in. In summary, I highly recommend joining Curves!
This is my second week at curves and i love it. When i go after a long day at work i feel right at home. Everyone is very nice and makes me feel comfortable working out and not feeling any pressure. I love the meal plan and coaching as well!
