Don't tan there! I was severely burned because the timer didn't go off (apparently even the backup timer was broken)! Instead of saying we're so sorry, give me some sort of compensation (a free month or something), they kicked me out of the club and cancelled my membership!!!! Piss poor attitude with piss poor service.
the treadmills are nice machines [that's all I've been using so far] some of the earphone wiring is a bit rough with some dangling wires that have been around a while. The staff is pleasant and greet you in and out; a nice plus. lockers and adjoining areas are clean and orderly. overall a good place and judgment free I might add. Nice place so far [after 3 months]
When you think your all set with your account after two months go by your not. They tell you afterwards that you owe for two months plus fees, even though they have your account number. They are rude to you.. Don't go unless you want to spent more than is required
Planet Fitness is a great gym in Augusta, Maine, at only $10/month!
Its a no thrill gym... Its got plenty of equipment with enough of variety to satisfy most people. You dont get class or pool, spa or anything like that but then again, I spend more on peanut butter each month then I spend on my gym membership...
