Shoddy equipment, when there was actually any available. The "trainer" was having her beginner level participants do advanced level exercises at their first class. The owner tries to make it impossible to actually terminate a membership and forces you to jump through all kinds of hoops just to stop charging you. At $30 a month for a membership (at the time I signed up) the cost is higher than other gyms within driving distance. Just go somewhere else if you actually want to get your money's worth.
Now 4 months later I feel great. I had never been a regular at a gym, but the staff is amazingly friendly and the gym is cleaner than any of its pricey competitors. The classes are adjusted to all fitness levels and the routines are changed on a daily basis, so you'll never get bored or complaisant with the classes. I felt welcomed there since I was not mocked or made feel guilty for being not being fit and was complimented every time I made some improvement. So far I only have compliments for this facility and its incredible staff.
