Steve is about as bad as it gets. I was a paying member and was trying to get my wife to join so I brought her in to see if she liked it. She came with me and a paying friend, twice. On the third time, the friends husband (who was also a paying member) came with us to see if the four of us could make our own workout routine/program. I figured this was a great way to get my wife to sign up as the four of us would be able to make it a fun experience for her. Steve called me into his office and said " is she joining or what?" I said " That is why all four of us are here to see if we can convince her" . He said " she has been here long enough to know" I said "she has only been in twice". He literally blew up and said " I want her out of here". I was surprised to say the least. All of us left, I quit the club as well as my friends, so instead of gaining a customer by letting her try out the place three times, he lost three customers. Nice move Steve. I believe most places give a free trial, 7 days minimum. Not Steve, he'd rather lose people and then try to replace them by putting expensive flyers in everyone's mail box in town. Costs a lot less to retain a customer and get free referrals than to try to gain new ones with flyers!
