I initially came in during August of 2014 with a severe pain in my shoulder. My first visit was fine, they told me to put a heating pad on it at night and ice it during the day. I did this for two weeks and it was not helping. I went back in a second time and the doctor sent me to get an x-ray done. After doing this, I never received a phone call back about my results. I waited three weeks and my shoulder was still in serious pain. I went back in for a third time on October 2nd. At this point, I was getting extremely fed up because they had done nothing for me. They prescribed me a stronger dose of Ibuprofen (which did not help whatsoever and I had already been taking it) and said they had faxed my papers and referred me to Orthocarolina. I was told that Orthocarolina would call me with my appointment date. After waiting two dreadful weeks, I had not received a call. I went back into the clinic on the 16th and asked what was going on. They did not have a record of my last visit. By now, I am furious. The woman at the front desk was very polite, and I know that it wasn't her fault. She said that she would fax my papers to Orthocarolina and get me an appointment. She also said I should go over to Orthocarolina because they have an urgent care. Why was I just now finding out about the urgent care for orthopedics? I told the woman I wanted my papers printed off and in my hand. I went over to the urgent care immediately after this and I am now well on my way to recovering. I will NOT be back to the clinic and I highly recommend that you do not go either.
