Fit 4 Life

It is in a convenient location; however, it does not cater well to the military population which most of Spring Lake is consisted of. The equipment is substandard and the equipment breaks down often. We had a tanning membership as well and were not able to use the bed for months because it was broken! The prices were always changing and there was a high staff turn around. Upon PCS-ing to a different duty station, I went in there once we received our orders (which is always at the last minutes). The person behind the counter said we were "good to go" and that was the end of the contract. I found out a month later, they were still deducting their fee. I had to go back and give a copy of the orders and a month later, they were still taking money out. We called to leave a message for the "manager" to call back and that didn't happen either. When I finally had a chance to resolve this situation, I got nothing but excuses. Please read the fine print and understand that a military clause is not 30 day notice with them! Make sure you give them notice months prior to PCS-ing. I will never use a Fit 4 Life gym ever again. Gyms on post are free, more spacious, and better equipped!
Awesome place with clean equipment and environment! Staff is always friendly and helpful! Not sure what other poster meant because the same staff has been there a year plus and tanning beds have never been out of order (I think 1 had a few builds out but they had it fixed within a week). They are open 24/7 which is great! Love this place! Def military friendly and goes above & beyond for us members. It's never over crowded like the base and other members are so helpful! I'll never go to base gym again and my husband won't either.
