I was a member of Blue Moon Fitness for only a month before I was accepted to UNO. With upcoming access to UNO's recreational facilities, I asked to cancel my membership. I was assured that I would no longer be debited and I left. I later noticed that I was still being charged so I went back to the gym and spoke to a manager. The manager claimed that no employee would ever make such a mistake and refused to do anything for me. I then called the company's corporate office and was provided with the CEO's email and assurance that he would want to hear my story. The response I received from Joel Potter was extremely defensive and unprofessional. He claimed that no one at that location has ever made such a mistake, despite clear examples to the contrary online. I have never experienced such blatant disregard from a supposedly legitimate business, much less from that business' head "enlightenment" officer. A highlight from Mr Potter's responses: "Yes, we have people who don't like us. Have you not read our brochure or website? I have fired hundreds of customers over the years and I don't expect them to be fans." A quote from their website: "We do not believe that the customer is always right. We believe that the customer is always served. Sometime the answer to a question is no. We will do our best not to mislead you but warn you that we are not trying to be the gym for everyone." Take a look at their status on the BBB. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.

Um, disregarding the lower review that has nothing to do with Blue Moon Fitness on 84th and Center Street... this gym is fantastic. Super helpful staff, women's only workout area, his and her locker rooms with showers and full bathrooms, lots of equipment, pretty decent hours, plus VIP members can tan and use the massage chairs whenever they want! Only thing I wish they would consider changing would be lengthening their weekend hours so that they're open later than 7PM. Other than that, it's great!

This place is great! Super clean with excellent new equipment. Plus the prices for memberships are actually quite cheep. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a gym
