There are really not enough good things to say about Tilton Fitness Galloway. They guided my weight loss journey and lifestyle transformation. Tilton is more than a gym- it's a family. The entire staff was a support system through my journey. In addition to my gym membership, I also did personal training with Marissa Tartal as well as small group training classes. The entire staff is educated about the body and always willing to guide and assist when needed. The facility was always clean and machines were always working and maintained. Like I said before there really are not enough good things to say about Tilton Fitness Galloway. They are worth every penny!

Overall not a bad gym. Friendly staff and they have plenty of cardio equipment + an indoor pool, but if you’re serious about weight training, this isn’t the gym for you; Tilton is nothing more than a 2-star gym in this regard. Although Tilton (Galloway) is very close to home, a few friends and I left for Oceanside months ago. Reason being, Tilton doesn’t even have a single power rack (an absolutely essential piece of equipment for any serious lifter/athlete), while Oceanside has SEVERAL, not to mention Tilton could use heavier dumbbells and possibly even a reverse hyperextension machine, glute-ham raise bench, and trap bar… only a few quality pieces of equipment that separate the best gyms around from the average commercial fitness center that skimps out on essential equipment for serious athletes. If weight training isn’t your thing however, you won’t be disappointed in Tilton.

I was feeling frustrated that other gyms were for "meat heads" and I wanted to work out where I could feel comfortable and try new types of classes etc. I love love love their spin and small group classes. Plus I started using a trainer (thanks Laura!) and I can see I'm actually changing my body (yummy mummy here I come!) :)

My husband and I joined Tilton Fitness in Galloway at the end of Dec. 2012 after moving to the area. We did belong to another gym before Tilton however it was a quarter of the size and did not have any classes. We love it here, we did get a personal trainer for 6 sessions Nicole Bell, she is great. Nicole taught us so much like floor exercises, we had never tried before and never would have if she had not showed us how to do the proper things. We also love the spin class Eric is awesome. Everyone is friendly when we check in and the locker room is very clean. Another plus are the hours, they are open 24 hrs. So far I have lost 29 lbs and my husband 28 lbs. The pool is great also!!
