Cycling Center Dallas: White Rock Lake Location
Reviews
I've been doing the workouts at CCD for nearly a year. It's been great fun and more work than I've ever done on my own. The trainers know their craft and are relentless in challenging us to ride better and smarter. One result for me has been an increase in lung function and a decrease in BMI and body fat. Not bad for having so much fun.
I have been going to Cycling Center Dallas every week consistently for the past couple of months and have noticed huge gains in my power and endurance. Richard and Tracy are both incredibly knowledgeable and have helped me become a better rider! Thanks!!
I joined CCD four years ago, as my wife felt it would help me with an annual 300 mile ride I do. Not only has it helped me, but I’ve had other accomplishments as well. I am confident as a rider, I recently won my age group in a duathlon, I’ve lost around twenty pounds, and I increased my wattage power on the bike by over 60%. I’m confident and have so much more fun when I am out on my bike – and I lead – versus trying to keep up. I am particularly pleased that they work hard to improve my skillsets. So that even when in my mind I have "peaked" they are looking at the science. Could I pedal with more power? Could my diet or sleep improve? Is my hydration optimal? They work hard for me - and in return I want to work hard to improve myself.
Regardless of whether you're a new rider learning how to ride, you're just staying in shape for those spirited group rides, or you're a Cat 1 racer, this is the best place to train and gauge your progress. Richard Warton is a cycling geek. Richard knows more about cycling that most of us will ever want to know. Whether your issues are with bike fit, body position, hills, sprints, or endurance, the Cycle Center Dallas can help you address your cycling issues and make you a better rider. In June 2012, I suffered a widow maker heart attack and in July 2013 a broken foot. Since then, I vowed to return to my pre heart attack fitness (minus the blockage). I started riding with CCD in the spring of 2014 as a way of improving my cycling fitness, improving my power output, and avoiding the heat. I found that I got more out of an hour of indoor riding than in 3+ hours riding outdoors. Not only am I almost as fast as I ever was, but my rides seem significantly easier. I could talk for hours about what CCD has meant to me and my health, but if you really want to know what CCD can do for you and what they're about, you need to try it.
this is an amazing resource for any cyclist who wants to get more out of their riding. in addition to the workouts, which are challenging and i dare say even fun, you're given access to coaches with an incredible amount of knowledge on everything from preparing for an event to hydration strategy to fitting your bike correctly. they also happen to be really nice people which counts for a lot when you're knocking out your 25th 30-second interval of the day at 120% of your ftp. i've truly enjoyed the last seven months of training with coaches richard, tracy and wendy. take the free first class and see what you think.
