Texas Family Fitness - West Frisco
Reviews
Cleanest and least expensive gym I've ever belonged to. The facility is kept spotless and the equipment is always in working order. I've never seen an "out of order" sign on any machine. The staff is very friendly, I'm greeted when I come in and always get a "have a great day!" when I leave. Have never been "pressured" or even asked about personal training sessions. This gym is perfect for the average person like me.
Great Atmosphere and good people. They keep it clean, which is always nice! Love working out there! I recommend it!!
You get what you pay for - a cheap offering with awful customer service to match. I got overcharged for 5 months - all my attempts to reverse this failed as management hid behind their deliberately vague corporate policy. Repeated attempts to contact customer service were instead referred to corporate who are very unresponsive. Tried to cancel my membership but they billed me for an extra month and won't refund the extra payment. No effort made to make things like signing up/adding family members/canceling easier for customers. They try to oversell you on overpriced personal training sessions. Definitely one to avoid - you'll end up paying $42 per month even though they advertize a $12 per month price. If you're going to pay $42 per month may well as a first class service with a pool, sauna and a basketball court not this weak effort that has staff who clearly don't want to be there and have no interest in helping customers.
Excellent facility with high character and very knowledgable staff. I love my personal trainer, he keeps me accountable and motivated! Don't bother with other health clubs, Texas family fitness is top notch!
Have you ever tried to cancel a service and you're denied your right to cancel? Yea, never ever before Texas Family Fitness! Absolute horrible experience and would NEVER recommend them to anyone. They initially misrepresented the terms of the contract and the facilities activities. Then when they double charged me, they refused to refund telling me that I authorized both charges when I signed the contract. Like really?! I asked to cancel and they told me I had to cancel in person. So I go to cancel and the girl tells me that she can't because the manager has to sign off. I requested the manager and apparently they left for the day before 8pm (they close at 11pm on Fridays). So I asked her to call the managers and let them know I wanted to cancel and it would be an absolute inconvenience to have to come back again. When she calls, he refuses to return to the facility or give her permission to go ahead and complete the task; telling her that I could call their corporate office if I wanted to cancel. Although it was not the girl's fault, the managers there are horrible, deceptive and inconsiderate of clients time and request. Way to go on building brand awareness and loyalty.
