Gold's Gym Express

Clean up after yourself. Always bring a towel—and use it. There’s nothing worse than getting covered in someone else’s sweat. Towels help keep surfaces clean, dry and germ-free. Most gyms have cleaning supplies available—use them to wipe down your equipment before heading off to the next station. People i have seen dont carry a towel.
The only way to get a membership is to provide them with direct billing to your bank account....so if you loose your debit card that is associated with it, they will ding your credit report and send it to collections within 30 days. Speaking with the GM of Cedar Park location he said that In fine print of the contract you sign it states, that after your contract is up they will continue billing your bank account (month to month) until you give a written statement IN PERSON that you want to terminate the membership....oh and it takes 30 days to process and they will continue taking payments after your notice.... What the hell are contracts for besides screwing over the consumer? If your renting, or can forsee the future what life changes you may have, be aware that if you move and are within 100 miles (round trip) of a Golds gym even if the closest Golds to you doesnt have hardly any amenities you are screwed. They will not let you out of the contract.
i enjoy going to golds gym and working out and running. they have everything organize and clean. good service
This is a barely okay gym as long as you never try to cancel your account. I was encouraged to place my account on hold rather than canceling it outright...if I did so, I wouldn't be billed again. However, I *was* billed again; management wouldn't return my calls for a week. When I finally drove there, they assured me that if I wouldn't cancel my account they would credit the funds back...heh, that never happened. Again, they wouldn't I couldn't get my calls returned and they were never available. A nightmare.... Avoid this place.
