I joined the snap fitness in Barre and it cost me 130 dollars to sign up. After trying to work out there I realized it isn't a gym for lifting weights. They don't even have a chest bench. All the machines are so close together it is ridiculous. They have a lot of room for treadmills and they have a huge studio for working out to videos. If your a guy looking to work out with weights and machines this is not the place to go. Granted no where in Vermont is there a decent gym like Gold's or Powerhouse but this was really bad far as weights go ect .. Seemed like a gym just for women. Also if your thinking of signing up for Snap Fitness be warned . They have a 30 day requirement if you cancel. Which means your going to pay a extra month no matter when you cancel. I didn't even use the place and cancelled half way through the month and just got charged for another month. So it cost me 220 dollars for nothing. Yes my fault but charging a extra month is just plain bad customer service. When I went in to cancel I asked if they could not charge me the next month. He said the Lady who was manager was out and would call me when she got back. Never got a call. Too bad because the gym was better when the owners used to be there. I know Lori would have not charged me and returned my call. Oh well live and learn.
