The Fire Martial Arts and Fitness
Reviews
Hi Michelle, We apologize that you had a bad experience at our facility. We do try to accommodate our members to the best of our ability. We love the martial arts that we teach at our dojo and being able to share them with the public is a dream come true. In regards to the large classes, we do have 1 main instructor and on busy nights we have up to 2 assistant instructors that will assist with holding pads or walking around answering any questions our members might have. Also, the contract is explained to each member as they sign up, the only changes that we make are to the benefit of the members, not the gym. Again, we are sorry that your time with us wasn't to your satisfaction. We hope you find a gym that will work for you :)
The instructors were experienced and the gym was clean. However, once I signed up, I found the instructors mainly focused on the experienced members, not the new comers. Also the gym is too small for class sizes and you always had to work hard to avoid hitting those around you. The contract you sign is vague and they invent "rules" that are not written down. Be sure to get a copy of the contract if you sign up since it is nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone by phone or email if you have questions.
Super friendly. Relaxed enviorment unlike some places. Instructor are great and have a passion for the sport. Whether you are there to fight or there to get fit. They will get it done with a smile. Anyone else that wants to check it out there is a free month trial.
This is the BEST PLACE to learn Muay Thai, get an awesome workout and be apart of a great community. I love all the instructors and everyone that I have met here. I have been here for several months and every time I finish a class, I always want to come back for more. The Fire has truly helped me learn the power of discipline, focus, strength and energy. I have used this to significantly IMPROVE ALL other areas of my life. I am so grateful to be a member here!!!
Awesome gym all around. It's not one of those places you go and feel intimidated or unwelcome, everyone is really cool and friendly. The instructors are really talented and are either champions or have competed in the past at the championship level, so you know the stuff you're being taught works. Tons of options for classes and times. Can't say enough good things about this place... if you're looking for somewhere to train, definitely check it out.
