I highly recommend Transcendent Fitness. Cat is professional, experienced (13+ years) and well educated (Bachelor of Phys Ed with Distinction, CSEP-CPT, Medical Exercise Specialist BA). It is important to me to know that my trainer is truly an expert. The training provided is personalized, focused and challenging. Due to Cat's excellent coaching, I look forward to each session. In only seven months of working with her, I have lost significant pounds and inches but, more importantly, I have gained energy and improved my health. It is also great to be able to work with her in a private, well-equipped facility at times that accommodate my busy work schedule. She motivates me and has helped me achieve goals that I did not think I could meet. I credit Cat with changing my lifestyle and improving my overall health and well-being. For that, I am truly appreciative.
What can I say? Cat is great and she doesn't yell. Super friendly atmosphere and she pushes you to your limits, while also respecting your limits. Love it!
Transcendent Fitness is one of the best fitness studios I have ever been to. Catherine is an excellent personal trainer and is very knowledgeable in personal fitness. The studio has some of the best equipment available and an atmosphere second to none with no distractions to take away from your workout. Catherine also has lots of experience in her field, making transcendent fitness the ideal place to go to take your workouts to the next level, whether you are a fitness veteran or just starting out. I believe there are many types of people who would benfit greatly from Catherine's training style. The hard work and dedication she puts into her business ,Trancendent Fitness, as well as her own personal goals and lifestyle shows the motivation and passion she has for a healthy lifestyle and helping others achieve their own. Catherine listens to your needs, sometimes without you even knowing it and is always adjusting the work out to suit you best and to work towards your goals. These goals can be very specific or even a little more broad. Either way - she had all the tools to get you where you want to go!!! I enjoy my time working out with her and enjoy the results that come from the friendly warm atmosphere.
I have suffered from chronic neck and back pain since undergoing neurosurgery in 1996 so when I decided to start working with a personal trainer, it was important for me to find one that was very knowledgeable of how biomechanics and posture could be affecting my condition. I started working out with Catherine 3 years ago and it was apparent from the start that Catherine’s extensive experience and knowledge gave her the expertise to adapt and recommend exercises to help alleviate my pain and reduce poor postural habits in a short period. Catherine’s dedication to her client’s success, her professionalism and expertise make her a pleasure to train with. I would highly recommend Catherine as a trainer!
