World Health Glenora
Reviews
I have found the Glenora World Health Club to be an excellent facility. The staff are kind and curious and the equipment is top notch. I've been a member at several various clubs but I continue to be impressed by World Health and in particular how clean they keep the environment...please keep it up !!!
Reasons this is a great location: 1. Super clean; 2. Good Amenities; 3. excellent service; 4. Personal training is amazing. I wouldn't have been so successful without my personal trainer; 5. Great selection of machines; 6. Free parking; 7. People don't hog machines, everyone is very courteous with the amount of time on each machine; 8. Hours are good for people with odd schedules. Reasons I don't like this location: 1. Very busy location; 2. not enough free weights; 3. people don't put weights away all the time; 4. I don't like the towel service; 5. The merchandise sells out quickly;
From day one Chris and the rest of the crew have been super supportive and very motivating to keep me going and even if I never had a personal trainer some of them will come up and give me advice and kudos for some of my work outs. Very clean place and great work outs stations.
Rip Off: Some of the employees of this gym doesn't know everything about the membership policy because not all the staffs will tell you the same policy. When they made a mistakes on your bill, they expect you to pay extra bills for their own mistakes. You’ll be leaving angry and telling the whole city about this gym experience at the World Health. Unsafe environment: Most gym are safe but this gym the employees are so lazy that they put members in hazards. There were a large amount of milk spilled on the floor, the members told the front desk of the 2 ladies about the wet floor. They ignore the problems for hours, they didn’t even try to dry up the floor or put on a wet sign to warn others. Guilt Trip: When you started the yearly membership, they offer you 2 free lessons by their personal trainers. At the end of the training, they’ll pressure you to pay additional payments for more lessons. They’ll give you the meanest face and guilt trip when you want to save money by not signing up for more lessons. They’ll be in the office arguing with you and they wouldn't respect your decision. They’ll lose their temper & get angry at you when you refuse to say yes. They made the members felt so uncomfortable and that is not the way to sell their service to the members.
So far this is my favourite location out of Kensington, Mayfeild, and this one. Not too many "juice monkeys" go here so it's less intimidating. Although, they could be a little more professional when they answer the phone. The night receptionist seems like he's the only one who does his job!
