I watched Duane training clients in my gym and couldn't help but notice his very positive energy. I had a brief chat with him and decided he was the exact influence I needed in my life. I've had five other trainers over the years and haven't even seen close to the results I have so far with Duane. He provided me an extensive meal plan and is ALWAYS available for my questions. Duane is very supportive and encouraging and checks in with me regularly to make sure I'm on track. Thanks to him, I actually have the confidence to compete in a figure competition this fall for the first time at 33 years old. For anyone, whether experienced or never been in a gym before, Duane's "keep it simple" approach to weight training is absolutely life changing!! Thanks, Duane!!! Tiffany V
His postive attitude and words of encouragement keep me moving forward. Whether it be when he is pushing me past my self imposed limits in the gym or encouraging me to stay on the menu plan he has created for me I find his approach very effective. I have made great progress training with Duane! I have lost 25 lbs, ran a half marathon, increased muscle and boosted my self confidence! I was referred to Duane by a friend of mine. I have done cardio for exercise on and off over the years, but I really wanted to learn weight training. I wanted to gain muscle definition and achieve a fit, hard dancer body. I have been training with Duane for two and a half months now...I have lost about 12 pounds, and the changes in my body already are incredible! I don't need to lose anymore weight, and I am definitely getting the muscle definition I wanted :) I am completely addicted to weight training now, and will continue to train with Duane...he sure keeps you motivated! Maybe one day I will even compete in a fitness competition ;) If you want to make a positive change in your life, if you want amazing results, and you are prepared to listen to Duane...he will get you there... guaranteed :) Louise K
With Duane as my trainer, I look now look forward to going to the gym for a seriously tough workout. Since I started with Duane, I've experienced muscle enhancement, strength development and improved self-image. The best part about Duane is that he gets excited for you. When your muscles are pumped and he can see the progress you're making, the elation on his face reaffirms your sence of accomplishment. He's your classic nice guy, but a good enough friend to call you out on your b.s. when he knows you can do better or eat properly. People who see me everyday have noticed that I look better and Duane makes that process as simple and enjoyable as it can get. You rock, Duane! See you at the gym, bud.
I approached Duane after seeing the progress an acquaintance of mine had made with him in just six weeks. Working in the film business had resulted in me being away from the gym for about ten years. I had previously been a competitive rower, so I was nervous about taking the plunge into full time training after such a lengthy hiatus, fearing at the age of 42 it was already “game over”! However, I persevered and committed to the 20 week program and lost 76.5 lbs and added lean muscle. My waist measurement at the end was 34", a size I hadn't seen since junior high school. His “weight side” manner encouraged me to stick with it and even with a 10 week interruption, to work on a film out of town, I continued to make progress. As a result of my success, an actor colleague of mine also started training with Duane. I would highly recommend Duane to anyone who wanted to get healthy at any age, whether coming from a neophyte or seasoned professional vantage point. As he said at the initial consultation: “Plans don’t fail, people do”. His approach enabled me to stick to his plan, especially by making himself available to provide occasional advice in between sessions. I really feel that I am in good hands. Very pleased with my results and will check in with him periodically for some more sessions when I have the time.
