One bad apple is ruining the whole bunch. My one star is for the lack of professionalism and respect I received during an incident that happened with a staff member on my very first visit. I came to try out this facility with a friend and use their buddy pass for a free trial. After our workout, Bobby, the sales rep wanted to talk about pricing and current deals. I told him I was unable to sign up for the membership at that time but I would consider it for the future. He was persistent about me signing up before special expired but I could not make a decision at that time. Upon telling him I was going to pass on the deal he said, "You will regret it when you don't look like all of the other girls at summer time" and preceded to tell me "Sorry I'm from New York, we're honest." I have never been more insulted in my life. I was so beside myself at the moment I just had to say thanks but no thanks and walked away. I am not one for complaining EVER but I felt this needed to be addressed because you CANNOT say that to a woman. Especially when you are coming to a place to better yourself and it's already an intimidating environment. No one should ever make me feel like I don't uphold to some kind of image that society created to make people think what is beautiful or attractive. That being said I have contacted the manager several times before I received a response of which the issue has yet to been taken care of. I will not return to this facility and will tell my friends and family to steer clear.
I have no problems with this gym. Even during the busiest hours, there are always plenty of treadmills open and generally you can snag a stair master pretty quickly. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and they always have clean towels to use.
It's a nice gym and they have free towels and more state-of the-art equipment. I avoid it like the plague on Monday or Tuesday; it will typically be slammed on these days. Wed-Friday it starts thinning out a bit and you can get at the equipment you want relatively easy. What sucks really bad are the tool academy grads that wear their shoes in the sauna and do jumping jacks and the like while other members are trying to chill and be respectful. DON'T WEAR YOUR F#@$ING SHOES IN THE SAUNA OR STEAM ROOM BUSTER CUZ I MIGHT CATCH A CASE ON YOU ONE OF THESE DAYS!!!! I mean there are TWO signs on the door saying not to wear your shoes for the love of God! Not one sign! Two signs, and one with an image of a shoe on it crossed out! Other than that, I really like the place!
I can't believe the the bad reviews!!! one guy said no squat racks, there's like 10!!. always clean, good service, crowds are there just like every other club. Great experience, great staff
It's a great 24 hour location with plenty of amenities and equipment... It gets fairly crowded most of the time, which is normal given the location and facility, the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it takes the staff a long time to fix the TVs on the cardio machines!
