The facilities are nice at the Boynton YMCA, however, my disappointment is with the lack of sufficient spin classes.
Although there is availability during the summer months, starting 3rd week of September this year, I have not been able to get into the popular spin classes. It's very discouraging to arrive at a class only to find out that it is filled. I have had to drive to Boca YMCA to get into their spin classes. Boca offers 16 spin classes to Boynton's 7.
If you take the yoga class that precedes the spin class, you will have to walk out during the middle of yoga to go and get a number because numbers are not given out until 30 minutes before the spin class.
Once seasonal visitors start using the facilities, members will have to arrive 30 minutes early to get into classes.
