The place is fine just dont use the hot tub every morning around 4am theres atleast one (ive seen more than that) guy shaving in there. Ive complained nothings been done its been over a year.
I've been a member since 2000 with XSport and at the STC location since 2004ish... this place is great. It's got everything you need. Do your workouts and get done. There's a lot of people with billing issues, never had any. People comment on the staff being rude... why are people interacting with the staff unless they have a PT? Anyways you should expect the type of people that want to work at a gym have a tendency to be rude. They have monitors at all their cardio machines and for the most part their spin instructors are great... weekends are awesome... week days, not the greatest anymore. Plus it's not packed like the Schaumburg location. I've been to Lifetime and a few other gyms and STC X-Sport is definitely my favorite.
SCAM ARTISTS!! If I could give it 0 stars I would. DON'T give them your bank account info or you WILL get unauthorized charges on your account for years to come! I initially paid for ONE year, upfront, paid in full. NEVER signed up for auto-renewal. After my membership expired they started charging me monthly. I was livid. After having them refund my money and supposedly handle it, a year later they started charging me monthly again!! I went through the roof. At this point I reported them to the BBB, and have informed my bank they are not authorized to make charges on my account.
Dear Mr. Morrissey- your treatment of skin care employees in your SPA's is unacceptable. You are probably wondering why there are no revenues. If you continue having your estheticians bothering members in locker rooms with samples and flyers and promoting managers with no diplomatic, people or communication skills represented by Mrs. Debenedictis- you will never see revenues from this department. Your goals are unrealistic and unachievable for multiple reasons, including overstaffing. Your skin care orders are approved by people with no education in this field and take forever. Your estheticians are trained by Perri in D.G. who several times taught procedures incorrectly when checked with original source and who is extremely aggressive and unpleasant to be around. Why aren't you using product company reps? Your management is very fast on write ups and unable to communicate. Your rotation of employees is very high. With a great skin care menu that you have it's a shame this department is still failing on you.
DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM I came in with my girlfriend to use the free 7 day guest pass which seemed like a awesome deal! All we wanted to do was use the hot tub for about 20min and then be on our way. We filled out the info online and it said we could just show the pass. THIS IS FALSE. you must go in and fill out a forum which asks you for quite a bit of personal information! The people at the front desk do not care about you (as stated by multiple people on Yelp) and overall are just teenagers who like to gossip and text. very unprofessional Then we worked with a man who was trying to help us with the guest membership. He seemed to be in thirties or forties with dark brown hair and worked out quite a bit. He seemed very nice at first but my girlfriend had been apart of Xsport in another town so was not eligible to use a guest pass (even though she is not apart of Xpsort any longer) He said we could pay $20 that day to use the facility. I told him we just wanted to use the Hot tub for about 20min and it was not worth it. I asked if she could use her active brothers account just for the night and he said no which is understandable. I said it was not worth it and we would leave. Unhappy with results and the staff I said this place sucks and he yelled at me in front of everyone which was uncalled for, childish and unprofessional. I told him I was unhappy and would not be coming back and he yelled at me and told me he was going to put a note "in the system" and make it so I would not be allowed to visit any Xsport. (this is totally fine because I am from Missouri and there is no Xpsort, as well as I never want to go back) he continued to yell so I just ignored him and left. Nobody from the staff did anything and as stated by other people they simply DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. all they care about is getting in your wallet and in this day and age it will come back to haunt them because without the customer they have nothing. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and unprofessional. This seems common at this place from looking at other reviews.
