Agree completely with Yanna she is not a liar. Only go to that location because the Channahon location closed. which was closer and better set up. Staff here all suffer from a serious case of CBF (chronic bitch face) and not friendly at all. i dont think anyone has greeted me once since going to this gym. Expect the trainer jeremy ( he is nice). The manager does complains about the weights which is fine however they scattered everywhere and expects you to arrange the weights where you got them from which were everywhere. So.... yea. ive been to alot of gyms. xsports, golds, L.A.... might be switching soon. A
Dingy facility set in a strip mall along Route 59. Customer service from low level employees is adequate. The Regional Manager, Eric something, works at this facility, however, and is the rudest man I have ever encountered in any type of customer service role. I wanted to cancel my membership and found myself being shouted at by this man, ranting on and on about how I needed to follow the company's procedures. Customer service makes or breaks a business and gyms are notorious for making membership cancellations difficult. Charter Fitness lives down to this reputation very easily. I would recommend staying away from this third rate company and giving your money instead to Zip Fitness or another competitor (which offer better service for the money and even cheaper membership options).
for low monthly fee, its the biggest bang for my buck. They even have clean, folded towels at every workout areas. use 'em to clean up the equipment after use, or I can use the clean towels for myself. the place is clean, the bathroom is clean. and free movie while running on the treadmill. makes my running workout goes fast.
Good fitness! !!!#
