Awesome Summer Kids Camp - sale, fun and clean environment for Kids. My kids were tired everyday and loved swimming and playing all day. I appreciate the ID check at pick up - divorce matter. The facilities are great and kids have use of pool house, indoor and outdoor facilities - great for inclement weather. They also bring lots of activities to the camp - firemen, animals, sports teams, etc. The staff is caring and full of energy.
I have had to pay for over seven months for a service that was not up to the standards that was promised. They have been rude and veru hateful any time I spoke to them. So I paid for the entire year and called to make sure that I would not be billed again when they told me I had to come down in person because they could bill me forever if I did not come in and sign their cancelation form This is an extremly unfriendly enviroment to go to and you were not given the services that were promised. The Personal trainer that was offered mearly consisted of someone weighing you and then telling you to go work on a machinre for a while. No follow up and the trainer cancelled two appointments by leaving a voice mail and then didnt have time available to reschedule. I would never send anyone to this buisness. They have no ethics.
Although they now advertise memberships on a month-by-month payment basis, I signed a year's contract. My personal trainer left this facility about five months into my contract, and I wanted to follow him to his new location. I wasn't allowed to terminate my contract early, and have had to pay for dual memberships for nearly seven additional months. The assistant manager was not pleasant about this issue. The facility is old, not conveniently located for much of Springfield, and a lot of the exercise equipment is in out of commission frequently. There is no indoor year round swimming pool. It is the only place in Springfield to play tennis indoors year round, and some of the staff are very nice.
I asked many questions leading up to my sons arrival here in Illinois in the month of June. I was assured that if he passed a swim test he would be able to swim unsupervised the other options were play basketball or racquetball while I was in cycling class. I paid for the entire month, but only chose to take him with me one time. Upon entry I was told he couldn't play basketball or racquetball he had to be 12 yrs old however after I expressed my dissatisfaction and told them they would have to offer him some activity while they continued to be unaccommodating and rude they finally agreed to allow him to climb the rock wall, by this time I am late for class and my son is uncomfortable by the situation. I go on to cycling and he waits for the person to take him to the rock climbing wall. When I picked up my son I find out that the person who was operating the rock climbing wall got himself dressed in the harness to go and told my son he couldn't climb the rock wall because he didn't know how to tie the knot and proceeded to talk about me in front of my son. Who is operating this facility and how is it still open with this level of customer service?
