Raynham Athletic Club

great gym, but the hours suck. saturdays and sundays they close at 6. fridays at 8:30?
I was a member for over 5 years because of its close location. There is nothing besides the location that justifies the $45 plus a month. The staff is 5 out of 10 and most of the equipment has been around since WWII. Parking lot is lousy and poorly lit. There are alot of bonus activites in the membership like babysitting and the pool but if your a single person looking just to work out I would suggest going somewhere cleaner and friendlier.
I love the Raynham Athletic club (RAC) and just renewed my contract. After several years of looking for a great pool with good evening hours (year-round), I found it at RAC. The pool is crystal clear and well maintained--and I am saying this from the perspective of a frequent pool user and life long swimmer. In the summer, the pool becomes an outdoor pool and it’s awesome--the best in the Southcoast area. The staff is conscientious, and the owner continually tries to make improvements based on membership feedback. To top it off, RAC is a family-owned / owner-operated business -- i.e.,it's not a big corporation. Highly recommended.
I've been a member for almost 2 years and love it. Hands down they have the best classes, with the best instructors...staff is friendly and always accommodating. Perfect for my family because there is always something to do, always something going on. The playroom is clean and fun, the kids love it!
I have been a member of the RAC for almost 10 years, and have never been disappointed. The staff is always pleasant, and if you treat them kindly and with respect - they're just like family. They have updated the club continuously with new cardio equipment, circuit machines, and free weights. With all the extra's like yoga, spinning, aerobics, swimming pool, racquetball, basketball, etc - there is no reason to go anywhere else!
