This place is the biggest SCAM I have ever come across. They make you pay $40 in advance when you first sign up to cover the last month (once you quit the membership) AND the remainder of the present month. HOWEVER, if you don't quit on the FIRST of the month (before the billing cycle starts) then you are going to be charged for the next month and the $40 you paid previously will be applied on the following month. So you're basically paying for 2 months that you're no longer there. The scam here is simple. They claim, and are proud to offer, a month to month payment plan to make it easy for you, but no one lets you know that if you don't cancel on the first day of the month that your membership will continue for the next 2 months. Owners don't care, and clearly don't want to explain the agreement until after you cancel your membership and call to complain about your extra charge. The only argument you'll hear from them is that it's "clearly written in the agreement." The only reason they do this...to cover their asses and to get an extra month's pay out of you. Even though you're not attending their gym anymore. HUGE SCAM. I would NEVER recommend this gym to anyone.

Flex Fitness Center is the best place to workout in West Michigan PERIOD. If you are a serious lifter, this is the place for you. They don't kick you out for making too much noise or using chalk like other gyms would. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this gym to anyone and everyone.

Best gym in town. I have a free membership to MVP but still rather pay to go to Flex. The owners are extremely friendly and down to earth people. Not to mention the extent of free weights, machines, and cardio equipment. There truly isn't any gym around equipped like Flex. I started 8yrs. ago at a scrawny 135lbs and now at 210 with under 10% body fat. I don't believe I could have accomplished this anywhere else. Thank you Flex Fitness Center for the motivation and always helpful advise.

LOVE Flex. Since they are open 24 hours, I can get in whenever I need to--even holidays. The staff are friendly and call me by name. I rarely have to wait for the equipment I need. The atmosphere is friendly but no nonsense, I can get my training done and at the same time be inspired by the more advanced lifters around me.

Excellent facility, no matter what you're into...Powerlifting, bodybuilding, and the only place in town with Atlas stones, tires, and farmers walk yokes. Numerous power racks and squat racks, as well as a full line of machines. 24 hr access is a big plus, as is the always friendly staff who are genuinely happy to have you there and appreciate your business.
