This branch is wonderful--people of all levels of fitness are welcomed, encouraged, and challenged. The staff is unfailingly pleasant, the facility clean, the classes good.
Good place to go if you're wealthy with wholesome family values, but outside of that, even disabled individuals looking for reasonable financial help can kiss it goodbye....you can get better amenities at 24 hour fitness as far as workout equipment,and they too have a friendly staff, not to mention a pool, whirlpool, sauna, steamroom, dance floor, basketball court and gift shop.....and I got it for under 17.00/mo without having to provide IRS info, proof of income, etc.etc.....YMCA is ridiculously high for the value, that's all I can say. Enjoy the elevator music if you join.
My wife and I just finished a beginning Tai Chi class. Our instructor (Charlotte) was fantastic.
