My wife and I joined a gym for the first time. The facility is clean and it's pretty new. Our initial visit was excellent with a young lady that showed us around and understood our dilemma of not being to a gym before. She explained the procedures and scheduled an appointment for us to come back in and join and get measured. They called us to remind us of our appointment. So far we were impressed. When we came back in to join a young man helped us. He signed us up and took our money. He then told us they were short handed and too busy to do our quick start measurement. He told us we would have to reschedule. This was disappointing after paying all of our fees to find this out. I've been to the facility twice and I'm pleased with the equipment. I do think they could be better prepared for people joining a gym for the first time that need to know about equipment and exercise. There still a lot we don't know and really don't know who to ask at this point
