This is by far the best gym in Greenville, NC! The staff and leadership are always very helpful and friendly. The gym is super clean and very efficiently run. I have been a member of several larger gyms in the area, and can honestly say they have nothing on this place. If you are serious about getting in shape this is the place for you. While being a member here I have lost 75 pounds, and at 35 years old am in the best shape of my life! Give them a try!!!

Excel is a great place to work out. The machines are nice and very clean. Highly recommended!

Excel Fitness & Tanning is nothing more than what you pay for. Staff is very friendly and polite but Management is awful. The staff knows more than Management. The carpet and weight floors are torn, the roofs leak on occasion, the air conditioning is unreliable, there is always multiple broken pieces of equipment, the machines are greasy and dirty, cardio machines are filthy. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting especially the gentlemen's. One positive is a strong personal training staff. The personal training staff really knows what there doing and deserve a better gym. Overall this gym is cheap in every aspect. Obviously the owner's don't care about appearance or management.

Great fitness classes! Also, I never had to wait to get the cardio machine I wanted because they have plenty of them and a variety. Friendly staff, great rates, and nice judgement free atomosphere. I love Excel Fitness!

I used to tan at Excel, but eventually just got fed up with the service/beds. Upwards of 50% of the time, I would push the button to turn the bed on, and it wouldn't turn on. It was so frustrating to get dressed all over again and go get someone to fix it. Tanning that should have taken only 25-30 minutes ended up taking 45.
