As a first time Visitor today, I experienced Terrible customer service. No One welcomed me to the facility or showed me around and try to convince me why I should CHOSE their facility over the MANY others that contact me in a cheery professional manner. ANY question I had .. schedules, what do they have to offer, etc... I received the same answer... ITS ON OUR WEBSITE. same answer over and over again! I asked if they had copies of the monthly schedule that they had displaying at the front desk... guess what their answer was....you got it ... its on our website Very Terrible customer service..... I am in customer service and would NEVER treat new or current clients so rudely. I wonder if the owner really reads his reviews or even cares. CUSTOMER SERVICE CUSTOMER SERVICE CUSTOMER SERVICE...thats what it is all about !!! The only GOOD thing I have to say is the cleanliness and the separate facility for women only.
It's shiny new however there are not enough lockers in the womens locker room. You'd think with a facility this large they'd have thought of that, but you'd be wrong. I suggest you leave any valuables at home and put your boots/shoes on the floor and stuff your coat in an open cubby (when I say open, I mean there are no doors on them) The classes are extremely limited so if you're joining for the classes you may want to try somewhere else. Parking is brutal!!! I had to park at the old BJ's and walk. On a positive note, it's very large with a lot of equipment. I've never had to wait for a machine. It's also not the "hard sell" approach other gyms have. You can come in and work out without being asked to sign up of buy something. That is refreshing!
New, clean, with lots of cardio/weight machines and free weights. Crowded in the after work hours but again lots of machines and free weights so its not a big deal with the exception of squat racks. Having only 2 proper squat racks for a gym of this size wasn't a well though out plan. Also, could use a runway for sled sprints. Can't comment on the staff other than they were helpful when I signed up and seem friendly. Can't comment on the abundance of "meatheads" either because I'm there to lift heavy things and sweat not sit around and worry about what everyone else around me is doing.
good gym but is sometimes over crowed (at peek times), they need more room in the free weight area as everything is 2 close together, friendly staff. they have one of the best trainers around "Big Frank", big frank gets 5 stars and the club it's self gets 3-4 stars
Terrible gym. Completely dissatisfied. Signed up hubby and I because they advertised Insanity Classes. Showed up to a few classes and on one occasion class was cancelled, and another occasion a few of us were standing around waiting for class to start and we were informed that he didn't show up. Called the gym to tell them that my primary reason for signing up was because I wanted to attend insanity class and manager kept insisiting there was no interest yet when I came to class there was at least 5 of us waiting. Granted its a new gym, you would think they'd at least keep class around for 6 months where there is enough people talking about it to actually want to come to it. Anyhow, they wouldn't do anything for me. Give me a free training lesson, or get rid of one membership (since I bought 2), or take off $5, anything to work with me and at least be reasonable. I have another member ship at the BAC. This gym is just dark and depressing and you don't feel motivated to work out at all. Just remember, you only have 3 days to cancel after you sign up ! Or else your "locked" for 12 month contract. Hopefully they'll offer insanity at any other location which they don't do at all right now. Needs better management.
