If I could give you a minus I would! Planet Fitness is just a big joke!!! Due to a medical condition I wanted to put my membership on hold for about 10 months and they said they can not do it for more than 3 months... whaaaaat?@@?? then I just had to cancel, a couple of weeks later I saw they charged me another $39 "Annual Membership"!!!! then I call them, and even the corporate, to see what we can do about it and all of them were so rude and it turns out I should've cancelled a week earn't have to deal with them anymore, there is much better fitness centers out there!!! I hope you guys enjoy those $39!lier (by May25th). That is just ridiculous !!!! I'm really glad I don't have to deal with them anymore!!!

I joined Planet Fitness the Myrtle Beach, SC location in December 2013 and I’m a fit 62 year old man. This gym is the best affordable fitness center I have ever been a part of. The staffs are all very nice and professional and the center is the cleanest gym I have ever been in and I have been working out for 35 years now. It's so clean at all times to the point I just feel safe and free from not catching flu's or bugs due to poor housekeeping. Planet Fitness is a first class fitness center and should be the industry's new standard for an affordable quality fitness center which does not have a yearly contract to sign, you are free to come and go 24 / 7 its always open to fit your schedule needs. In my opinion if a gym has a yearly contract for you to sign, it’s a greedy corporate tool to force you to give them a predicable cash flow at your expense and this is a sign of corporate desperation to keep the doors open. This is not a sales pitch or a commercial in any way, I’m just so proud to be allowed to share my personal experience on this web site to give credit where credit is due. The only commercials I’m aware of is the positive word of mouth the members are telling their friends and family. I have not yet heard the first complaint from any one who goes the Planet Fitness, the only thing I have noticed is a steady stream of new members daily. Amazing! I have been to 20 different planet fitness and this one is by far the best. Almost want to move to be closer to this gym. Amazing floor plan, plenty of equipment, and a beautiful spa like experience! The owner of this location has the right idea!!!

Love the layout lots of equipment don't have to wait to workout but would be nice if there was one in georgetown so when I get off work wouldn't have to drive to the beach in traffic but other then that I love it
