My roommate works out here and raves about the place. He says they have a friendly staff and not a threatening enviorment. Seriously thinking about becoming a member

The facility is nothing fancy, with a healthy smattering of treadmills, nautilus-type machines and some free weights. They have a good squat rack and plenty of plates, however keep in mind the bench press is nonadjustable and they do not allow the use of chalk; Always plenty of clean towels though! Leaving gym due to relocating.

I felt the need to write after the other two horrible reviews. The gym is located across the street from an adult themed store but its also beside KSFY, the government center and so on. Its great if you live downtown. I worked out there since the day it opened until I moved in 2007. I was greatful for 24 hour access. This was one of the first in Sioux Falls. Because of the great equipment and 24/7 access I was able to start working on getting fit and have stuck with that as I moved away. Mark was very friendly and in the contract it clearly says that you need to give notice to cancel service just like every other gym in Sioux Falls and probably the country. And finally as someone who has traveled and worked out in probably over 100 gyms I would say 24/7 fitness is kept very clean. Highly recommended to join if you live or work downtown or are just a night owl like me.

Located across the street from a porn shop, 24-7 Fitness is run by Mark & Mia. After my one-year contract was up, I had assumed that my membership expired, and I stopped working out there. 5 months after that, Mark called to inform me that my membership fee had overdrawn my bank account and he was looking for his money. He explained that membership at 24-7 is like a cell phone company, they still continue service, and charging you for it, whether you use it or not, until you call and tell them either to re-up your contract or stop charging you. Well, Mark, you charged me an extra $300 in services not rendered, you are a greedy and dishonest business owner, I hope this costs you as much in loss of customers.

the gym is gross, it is across from Studio 1 (an adult store with an adult movie theatre) Mark is a greedy business owner, The gym is disgusting and the worst service ever.
