Olympia Hills Gym

Very disappointed with the quality if teachers at this location. 1. They are quite unhealthy and unfit. You would think that a teacher of gymnastics would take better care of themselves. The teachers here are very obese and cannot even perform most of the routines with the kids. 2. One of the teachers (the white lady not sure of her name) is VERY hateful and rude. She hasn't the faintest idea how to relate to children. Her idea of opening exercise is to sit her lazy butt on the mat while the little girls run laps around here. All while the other teacher is stretching and giving her kids a decent workout. This woman does NOTHING to instruct, she simply tells the girls what to do then barks orders at them as if she is annoyed with them. I have never seen her demonstrate a single thing, no doubt because she is physically incapable of demonstrating anything. 3. The other teacher of small children at this location is nice to the kids though her patience often dwindles and she has a tendency to pick and choose which kids to help when she does start to get annoyed. She does however actually work with the kids and instruct them on a much deeper level. She even attempts to show the kids the routine. However she as well is horribly obese and has trouble with the moves she attempts to demonstrate. She gets out of breath really quickly. Over all I would not recommend this location to any of my friends as it is unprofessional on many levels. I myself am not the healthiest human being but I do expect the people teaching my daughter a sport to be healthy enough to show them said sport without physical issues due to obesity. Especially when being physically fit is a very important part of gymnastics. A coach is supposed to be a healthy role model, these women are not only not healthy role models but they aren't even really role models. My daughter went one month, she won't be going back.
