The summit makes me feel at home. Everyone is amazing supportive and kind. I have been to a few other gyms and none of them have ever given me the results like the summit has. The only thing I would like for the summit to do differently. I would love some kind of class in the evening on Friday nights like after 6:30 pm Zumba, Barr or a water class. Thanks so much for letting me be apart of the Summit family.

I understand how marketing works. I work with marketing companies every day. But what Summit has done to their club has rendered a membership there completely worthless. With so many promotions working to bring people to the gym they've forgotten that those people would like to actually DO something while at the gym. With only a single set of weights, along with some scattered extra weights here and there, one literally has to wait in a line in order to use the equipment. Now, anyone who understands exercising techniques at all will know that having 5 minute forced rest (waiting for equipment) between sets is not going to benefit the person exercising at all. It's impossible to do a superset of anything because the moment you try someone else is using the weight you'd need. Another main reason why I purchased a pass to Summit was the fact that they have a regulation length pool. I really like to have swimming be a part of my workout routine. I'm not a competitor by any means, but I'm a good swimmer and I just plain like it! So when I show up to swim and MOST of the lanes are 'occupied' by a swim team leaving two lanes for me and everyone else who is trying to swim to share it gets pretty packed. I'm paying for a membership. I want to use the pool. I don't see why that's too much to ask. What the salesmen SHOULD tell you is this: "Yes we have a pool, you'll pay for it in your membership dues, but....you will hardly get to use it because we give it to the swim team." Granted, I COULD just show up at random times during the day and I'm sure the pool MIGHT be open....but (this may blow your mind) I have a job during the day that I have to go to. And my ability to work around the swim team's schedule is fairly limited. The front desk is rarely any help with any issues. They have schedules for the tennis and pickle-ball courts where you can sign up for a specific time slot to play. Whenever I've done this, there were already people in the court who also said they had also signed up. But when we checked with the front desk there weren't any names on the chart. So...someone isn't very thorough with their job. We ended up leaving to go play tennis at the college. It seemed a better idea than trying to fight the people on the court at the club. Honestly, the best part about Summit is the fact that they have a fully functioning and accurate scale. And! There's rarely a line to use the scale, which is great. Summit is one of the most expensive athletic clubs in the entire State, much less City of Saint George. It's extremely disappointing spend good money on a membership that doesn't actually fulfill all the benefits that I pay for. Maybe, just maybe if they were to coordinate a schedule that actually allowed its members to use the pool or if they had enough weights to accommodate everyone they're giving memberships to, it would be a good place to go. But they don't. It really feels like they're in it for the money and not the health of the community. And frankly, that's not a vibe I will ever support. I'm sorry guys, but Summit is an incredible disappointment in so many ways.

best gym ive ever stepped foot in. feels more like a club. feels family oriented and not dripping with hormones like some gyms are.

I didn't believe in going to the gym until I started coming to The Summit for a weigh loss competition. Now I love it and all the classes they have are amazing! Instructors are great at what they teach and have the experience and knowledge to help you get started from ground up. Overall will highly recommend!! Come to the Summit and experience a life change!

The staff is so personable and friendly. David was a HUGE help in helping my fiance and I with membership cancellation (something that has been very difficult with other gyms). He went above and beyond to try and help me get the best deal and make it as painless as possible. I would recommend this gym simply for the staff but the facility is amazing as well.
