I have tried many programs trying to find the intensity and camaraderie of my college workouts. I am glad to say that I have found the place - Trident Shield. Jason has tailored his workouts to fit everyone, the only requirement is desire. Jason gives personal time to every athlete in the gym and he desires to help everyone achieve their goals. Trident Shield is not just a gym where you show up, workout, and leave. Jason wants to prepare people for the dedication and hard work that comes in every day life. No matter what you do for a living, the lessons you learn about yourself from Trident Shield will help you in all stages of life. As Theodore Roosevelt said "Nothing worth having comes easy."
The feeling I had after my first training session at Trident Shield is not a feeling I'm going to forget anytime soon. Football, wrestling, and cross country compare negligibly to the effort I put forth during the time I spent training under Jason Perry. If you're not doing the best you can do, he's going to let you know, if you're doing a good job, he's going to let you know. If you've got 30 seconds left in the set he's going to motivate you to finish strong. He measures the workout directly to your fitness level, so you're working at the perfect amount of tension and challenge. If you truly want to overcome all of your physical barriers, Trident Shield is the way to go, and Jason Perry will be the man to help you get to the best possible version of you.
Trident Shield is the best thing around Charlottesville bar none. If you want to just go through the motions, be mediocre, and coast through your days, there are plenty of gyms around that offer that opportunity for you. However, if you want to start investing your time rather than spending your time, Trident Shield is the place for you. Jason Perry will challenge you to find your limits and exceed them on a daily basis. I only had the luxury of working out there for a month before leaving town but I made more gains in that short time frame than I would have in two months at your "standard" gym. Jason will get you to reach your potential as long as you're willing to come in and work. He's also the type of guy that will go out of his way and do anything he can to help you succeed. All the tools and resources are in place for you. It's time to raise the standard and start investing in yourself and in your time! Get in to Trident Shield and get to work!
Jason Perry is most professional and knowledgeable trainer in this area, when you are working out with him he will dedicate all of his attention on you,to make sure you don't slacking off anytime you are working out with him. All of his work out will challenge you to push you self to your limit and go beyond that limit. And I guarantee after working out with him for a while you will see the differences on your endurance and physique, if you are looking to have a ripped and muscular physique then this is the place to train to get that physique. If you are LEO or fire fighter, then you have to come to this place to train with Jason Perry because he provides a functional fitness and it is similar to your job, such as getting in a foot pursuit and going over obstacles while wearing all of the gear or running through a burning building with all of your gear, his work out will help you to prepared for physical aspect of your job. Also working out with Jason Perry you will have to push you self over the limit and get to that beast mode, in order to do that you will have to mentally push you self to tell you self that you can do anything, you will never quit. For me this is really important mindset to have as LEO and firefighter. Because the moment you are fighting for your life and you quit, you might not to get to go home at the end of your shift. So come out to Trident Shield and work out with Jason Perry just for one class or just observe one of the class' work out, I guarantee you will be back and never wanted to work out at another place.
Trident Shield has changed my life. I am in my late 40's, was overweight and terribly out of shape. Jason has pushed me out of my comfort zone to the point that I have seen an amazing transformation of my body, both physical and mental. Jason pushes you out of your comfort zone and mixes the workouts up so that you don't get bored. I also had 2 injuries, a knee and foot, that Jason helped me train through to the point that I have no pain.
