I had a month-to-month membership and recently had to move due to work. I cancelled the membership at the beginning of March and they charged me the $25 upgrade to equipment fee on March 16th. They said that because I had to give 30 days notice, they could still charge me the fee in those 30 days. The fee is to upgrade equipment that I will not be able to use. They collected plenty of $25 dollar fees from the other gym goers to more than cover the little bit of equipment that they plan to upgrade. Besides this, it is not a bad gym.

While the gym at Body Renew is great, it is one of the most terribly run businesses that I dealt with in Winchester. I called and visited to cancel my membership numerous times and was never able to reach anyone. I was finally able to reach someone and was told that my membership would be cancelled, and then a month later I receive a letter stating that I was behind on my payments and that my account was current and was set to be auto renewed. There are times that you will go in and there will be no one manning the desk and no one there to help you. I went with my husband to cancel a few months ago and we ended up standing around waiting for help for at least fifteen minutes before someone finally asked us if we needed help. I wish I could give this gym a better rating, because when we were going frequently it was great, however this is a business and it's impossible to rate them higher when their business itself is run so horribly.

This business is one of the worst ive ever dealt with. I had my letters and everything i needed to have my membership cancled around june 2013. The employee took my keyfob. And have not been to the gym since june of 2013 and after months of arguing with different "Managers" I finally had one that was able to cancel my membership today. Almost a year later. My card has been charged over and over again and they say can say is "Canceling it today is the best we can do for you since there is no record of you canceling your membership".. The BBB has been written to. If i could leave a 0 star review I would.

Small, crowded, not many machines/etc... in my experience the people here in overall and in general seem to be a lot more rude/etc than any other gym I've been to really... the only reason I would ever go back here would be because of the salt water pool that was put in but I don't know.
