Family Life Christian Center
Reviews
One of the least friendly/welcoming churches in FW. I am a fair-minded person and visited several times and felt invisible every time I went. Parishioners have their own impenetrable cliques and do not seem interested in expanding their circle of acquaintances. The Children’s Program is very squishy doctrinally and has elements of pop-paganism in some of its activities. Frankly, it is beyond me how this church expects to grow when visitors are utterly ignored on a consistent basis and CE is pandering to the ways of the world. You and your family are better off looking elsewhere.
I have known Pastor Dan Larson and his wife Diane for over 5 years and believe them to be good Christians. I have encountered them on many occasions through the Northwest Junior Bible Quiz program and find that they are truly teaching the word of God and are interested in the well being of all the people they come in contact with. I think that the person who wrote the review saying that their church is a horrible place, should talk with Pastor Dan personally and explain what you are looking for in a church. I also believe that you owe Pastor Dan and Family Life Christian Center an apology. As Christians, we should be building up the church, not tearing it down. It is a lot easier to speak with the Pastor and let him know where you are in your walk with Christ. I am sure he would be able to ease your anxiety and truly listen to your concerns. He might even be able to help you find a church that better fits your current walk in life if that is what you are truly looking for. What we need to realize is that all Pastors have different personalities and different speaking styles and the ability to reach different people at different times in their life. I do not believe that God would have put him in this leadership position unless God needed Pastor Dan to be there for a very important reason.
