I currently got a membership with anytime fitness. I told them that I wasn't going to sign up with them if they didn't have a club in Wisconsin Rapids and which they told me they did. I moved to rapids after being signed up with them for 2 weeks and tried to locate a Anytime Fitness in the phone book and internet and it wouldn't show up. I called them and they told me they didn't have one, so now they tricked me into a year membership for 99.00 dollars activation counting first month payment that doesn't even exist where they told me there was one. I now have to pay a 50 dollar cancellation fee which comes out to be about 130 dollars for 2 weeks of use to the club. They lied to me about their club location to get me on a 12 month membership. It was one of the lowest sales schemes I have dealt with. I will be canceling my membership and never going there again and also telling others to watch out for dirty business schemes.
