10 Fitness Hwy 10
Reviews
I Love 10fitness, I never have an issue with getting on a machine, its clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly and helpful at least at the West Little Rock location. The only thing that I hate is trying to get out of the parkinglot onto Cantrell, thats an accident waiting t happen!
I love this gym. They are very good to me, greet me when I scan my card, very helpful if I have any questions. Overall my marks are very high. For the money (approx $10/month) it’s very difficult to find a nicer facility. I have used a personal trainer there and was very pleased with the training I received. It gave me the jump-start I needed to get into a regular routine of going to the gym. Locker rooms and bathrooms I find clean, modern and spacious. There is a good variety and quantity of equipment. More than enough treadmills and elipticals. I would recommend this gym to any and all of my friends.
10 Fitness has been great and you get way more than you would think for 10 bucks a month. The equipment is clean and well maintained, and the staff has been more than helpful concerning my workout questions. The gym is geared toward the everyday user and doesn't have a lot of the overly aggressive muscle types that you might find at other gyms. Concerning the review below by Eagle, it seems like we might have a case of someone not paying their club dues on time and then getting angry when late fees are assessed. I know for a fact that 10 Fitness does NOT own the collection agency it uses and this guy needs to learn some basic facts about automatic drafts from your credit/debit card. You have to TELL them to turn it off. It doesn't just go away because you quit going into the gym. All in all its a great gym and well worth the money.
Minus the year after my daughter was born, I have been a member of 10 Fitness since 2006 (when it was originally Bowman Fitness Club). This gym is an excellent value for the money and even though it no longer has child care or even towel service, I do not miss it. My friend and I work out here early in the morning (5:15) and never have to wait on cardio and only rarely have to wait on weight equipment (usually the cable row or lat pull and sometimes the mats). Contrary to what others have said, I did quit my membership for about a year after my daughter was born and had absolutely no problems. I stopped in one day and signed a paper and my account was never drafted again. I have never had issues with billing, and the staff is generally very friendly and helpful (there have been one or two turkeys over the years but you will find that anywhere). I would highly recommend this gym to anyone who is looking for a basic place to work out (e.g. no classes or child care) and high quality equipment.
I have been a member for almost three years now. I had THE most awful experience here today! As I went to tan, as I do often, the attendant asked if I had my goggles. Being a contact wearer, and a member for so long, I replied with a yes which has never been questioned since I have showed them to several people whom are usually there at my normal time I go. He then asked me where they were. I replied with the answer that seeing that I had no pockets, they were kept in a undisclosed location. Knowing this, he then asked to SEE them. I told him I DID not feel comfortable complying with that request and told him that was very inappropriate. What are they going to do next, set up cameras to see if you put them on. THIS WAS WAY OVER THE LINE! I felt embarassed and violated.
