Alliance Training Center
Reviews
As much I used to love this gym, the staff has completely ruined my professional view of Alliance training. The coaches are amazing, they know what they are doing and do not waste your time. As for the staff and the people in charge are completely in it for the money and do not care for you as a customer. This gym or training center is contract based. I understood this part, but what I was sat down and explained or either or. The gentleman simply acted as if he was selling me a bottle of water and sent me on my way. Not very professional. A few weeks later I realized that some things were not explained to me that were written in the contract so I went dow to talk to the "supervisor". Unfortunately there wasn't he could to at the moment but said he would call me back to let me know my options. Weeks have gone by and no call back or anything. The sad thing is I am still paying them for basically treating like another dollar bill. Please do not bother with this gym unless you have the money to not care for a contract and are in it to train only. If anything else, this company Alliance Training center does not care for you and will not treat you with respect yet theyll take your money like they worked for it.
I couldn't have made a better decision to visit San Diego to train at Alliance. I must admit I was a bit nervous as I've only trained at one gym for the past 5 years. I've heard how some other gyms treat outsiders, and you never know the culture of a gym. However, I shouldn't have been nervous at all because as soon as I walked in I was welcomed with open arms. This has been an amazing opportunity to train with some of the best fighters and instructors in MMA. For this reason alone I've already seen my skills improve drastically, especially my mentality. The people at the gym are super friendly and willing to help. Also the instructors at this gym are also some of the top coaches in the country, and definitely know what they are talking about. They know exactly how to push you depending on your goals. If you want to be a fighter their going to push you to the limit and then some. But if you're just coming to have a great workout they're going to push you and motivate you as well. They are also very friendly towards women which is EXTREMELY important in any gym. I've read some negative reviews that list some frustrations with contracts, but at the end of the day the terms and conditions of any contract are clearly explained before you sign. Additionally, if you have some of the best instructors in the country teaching at a school, then I sincerely believe you should pay good money for it. If not then join a cookie cutter gym where the instruction is average. I don't want to be average, so I'll stay here. All in all I highly recommend this gym to anyone in the San Diego or Chula Vista area. You will not regret it!
A gym is a gym. It's the trainers and staff that make this gym so much fun to go to. I love being there. Everyone is friendly. No muscle-head douche-bags huddled up on their phone like at 24 Hr fitness. this is a real blue collar gym for people who want to work. The trainers push me to my limit and always take the time to help me. I'm only here for 3 months and I wish I can take the gym and the people with me back to Miami.
Great gym the TRX classes are awesome for getting in shape. Submission grappling will definitely get you sweating and will have you feeling good. Muay Thai will also get the blood pumping. This place is awesome, great people and a way to stay in shape that is also fun what else could you ask for in a gym?
fake fake fake reviews think again before signing up to this gym you have to sign up with a 6 month contract and if you don't go with the whole 6 months they charge you for the ones you haven't pay if you want to get out. Bullshit gym if you want to sign up for a gym just sign up for a regular one most of the coaches in gym is garbage and the prices in this gym is ridiculous $200 sign up fee for everything and after that $130 a month they are really crazy they think have pro fighters will attract people to the gym.
