Idaho Athletic Club

I've been at this gym for 3 months and don't I understand why the star rating so low. Its a kick ass gym, a little busy at times but I'm able to get everything done. For the price it does twice as much as what I was getting at my other gyms. For instance the dry sauna in the dead of winter is a convenient getaway that I never thought I would care about. The staff makes a point to say hi or goodbye to you when you leave. For the most part the equipment gets fixed rather timely and there is usually a similar one I can workout on in the meantime. There is fans on elliptical and treadmills and if you want more they have bigger ones sitting around you can turn on for more air. For me great business is in the details and they seem to be getting it.

the ellipticals have a very short stride. Lifting areas are always busy and the staff was rude. They told me they canceled our membership over the phone, 2 payments later they required written notice and because they are stranger to decency, yet another payment... here is hoping that's the last I hear from them.

I bought the "all clubs" option and have been a member since 2005. Business has forced me to drop membership in the past and it took about three minutes on the phone. I suspect that the "complainers" are shills from other athletic clubs. As far as the clubs go, these are the real facilities with the full range of very expensive equipment. The Caldwell facilities are clean and spacious. Almost brand new. They are not one of the strip mall "baby" clubs. If you are just looking for a place to use a treadmill, you can save money by going elsewhere. If you want a real gym, try these guys.

they took advantage after my contract was over they keep taking money out of my account, and they sent me to collections for cancelling my bank account. careful when you sing in made them explain you every single financial issue, before you sing in. in my own opinion, is a better options in the valley cheaper, and more efficient

I joined Idaho Athletic Club about six months ago, I have since moved and wanted to change Gyms. They charged me 150$ to cancel, plus 57 dollars for the current month, and the next month for "Not giving 30 days notice". It was my understanding that the 150$ was to cover or recoup an loss, but the rest of the fees are bogus!! I called corporate, who seem disinterested in helping. It is obvious that this club cares more for its customers MONEY rather than its Customers. I would recommend this gym if you like to paying money for extra bogus fees. 264$ to cancel a membership. Cool huh?
