CrossFit Dash has been my home for the last 7 months and in that time I have improved more in my technique and strength than I had in the previous 9 months of doing CrossFit. I truly enjoying working with the coaches and working hard with the members of this awesome community. If you have fitness goals, and you enjoy challenging yourself and exceeding your potential, come check it out! The workouts are all scalable to fit every athlete's skill level and the coaches work hard to make each athlete a better athlete.

Dash is an awesome gym. The coaches buy into the philosophy that hard work pays off. They all work just as hard as the members and it shows. But the real key to this gym is the attention to detail. It doesn't matter how good you think you are at a lift or movement, the coaches can help you get better. They aren't just there to lift weights or cheer you on (which they also do). They are there because they genuinely want their members to improve and succeed. It is so much fun watching each and every member improve. Class sizes are small but large enough that you have someone there to push you. I have been crossfitting for about 18 months. I spent my first 15 at a gym in Cali and my last 3 here. I have visited boxes in Georgia, Michigan, and all over Cali. This gym is right up there with the best and it's very, very new. Kudos Dash staff. Keep up the good work.

I have been working out at CrossFit Dash for approximately 8 months and have enjoyed every work out. The community at Dash is incredible, the programming is well balanced and the coaches are knowledgeable and easy to work with. I highly recommend Dash to anyone interested in taking their fitness to the next level.

I started going to Crossfit Dash because a friend first invited me to a free class. I had no intentions on starting up because I was worried about cost. After doing just 1 class, I was hooked! I come from an athletic background and being in the military I found it hard to be challenged. This challenged me in the best possible ways. I am more than excited to go to class, even the 6am class and I am NOT a morning person. I was also worried I would have no idea what I was doing, well the coaches are more than good about teaching you. They don't push you beyond what is safe. They still push you to do better but not if it's going to be unsafe. The community of motivation you get it super awesome as well. Everyone can get down on themselves, especially while working out. That doesn't happen here. You are constantly in competition with YOURSELF and not the guy next to you. The guy next to you is motivating you to keep going. I highly recommend Dash to all of my friends. Best addiction I could have picked up! Thanks DASH/CASTLEWOOD and coaches!

I had a different experience than others here. Being a very strong gym rat I am no stranger to exercise & working out, ect.. I did want to mix things up a bit so I walked into the CrossFit Dash Box & met with 2 coaches giving them my basic stats, goals, ect. Being very tall I had some concerns about the equipment being so small such as the pull up bars ect as I could just walk over and grab the bar without reaching up, much less standing on my tippy toes like at the gym. The coaches said they were moving into a new facility within weeks and the new equipment was going to be fine for what I needed. I let them know my goals & other concerns as well including a large dog that seemed to roam free all the time. I informed them being fearful of large dogs I would have a challenge exercising with one barking & jumping around right around me but was assured that wouldn't be a problem. Also, being new to CrossFit in general the coaches assured me that they would take the time to help me with the movements & get me up to speed saying that they had intro classes however they would take extra special care of me so I should just come to the regular classes. Being a novice I took the coaches advice and bought their largest package(unlimited) letting me come as often as I wanted... I was excited to get started.... I quickly learned that I was really just being thrown into the class & it was ok at first, Heck it turned out that on strength movements I was the strongest at the Box in Squat, Bench & Deadlift but again I went to the gym regularly so this wasn't a surprise to me. My goal for CrossFit however was to be able to do pull-ups, ect with endurance training. I wasn't really coached in that when I pointed out the obvious that the pull up bar was way way to low to do pull ups the coach pointed to someone almost a foot shorter than me as the example which wasn't really comparing apples to apples... Then Saturday classes were cancelled even though it was unlimited. Then they closed for a day or so when them moved which again is fine, unless you sold me the wam bam all you can eat package which they did... When I get to the new large facility, I am met with newer equipment but still way to small for my needs. The coach attempted to get me to do some movements but with the equipment so small it was impossible. Again, the coach didn't seem to understand that I am almost 7 feet tall. Dude just simply didn't understand which is fine, again, unless you say it won't be a problem when it is because your equipment is made for people who are all 5"10. I realize I'm tall but please don't sell me a pinto and say I can fit in it when clearly I can't... I never received any real coaching, training, nor did I get all the unlimited classes that I paid for, ect so while I'm sure it is great for some people it didn't work out for me at this particular location. They took my Cash & never checked on me, even after I left, ever.... Now I simply take the CrossFit movements & do them at the regular gym keeping in mind that CrossFit doesn't "OWN" the movements lol. As it turns out many people do the same.. This Box also did not inform me of the risks of CrossFit such as Rhabdomyolysis which apparently is very common via a simple internet search. They also didn't have me sign any waivers, or anything for that matter. While I was only there a short time, 1 guy got hurt on the wet pavement, another guy had to have shoulder surgery, one poor guy twisted his ankle real bad... They had us laying on concrete at the new facility to work out on. They gave me a mat, which wasn't much bigger than my dinner napkin. I paid something like 160.00 a month for this lol, can you imagine? lol anyways... I enjoy CrossFit & respect those that do CrossFit, just not at this Box is all...... This Box let me fall through the cracks as they were expanding and in my opinion missled me & that is why they deserve only 1 star from me. I hope your experience is better..
