Anytime Fitness

Good facilities, wifi, 24x7. The reviewer who claimed they don't tell you how to cancel probably just wasn't listening. They made it very clear to me that cancellation requires 30 days advance notice in writing, which is common for national fitness franchises. Just plan on it taking you two or three months to cancel with any of them -- and hopefully that gets you to keep working out.
When you sign up, it automatically renews and auto-debits your account. This seems like a simple concept but apparently, ARoninson can't grasp what's going on there. I've been to 9 different anytimes and they are always nice and convenient. I personally love the autorenew and the auto-debit. One less thing I have to remember.
The gym does not tell you when you sign up that the yearly membership is nearly impossible to cancel. Nor do they tell you that they RENEW your membership WITHOUT ASKING. They are overpriced. They claim that their staff can help with personal training but are not qualified. I will never join this gym again, and have advised all of my friends to look elsewhere.
